Yes, the movie Ghostbusters was popular but there is no indication that ghosts that are produced out of slime (green or otherwise) exist.

But, humans and created beings/creatures (birds, fish, animals etc.) whom we see around us are not alone. There is a realm of beings who cannot be seen, touched or heard by normal human faculties that exist. The Bible talks about God, angels, the devil and his hordes.
Angels protect and serve those who are in a living dynamic relationship with God who is revealed in Jesus Christ.
The devil and his ilk take upon themselves the task of destroying all that is good , beautiful and joyful in the human race.
But, finally it is God who rules over all creation and the devil and his followers cannot harm those who trust God.
